The Level 1 course assumes that you have never played bridge before and starts from the basics and moves at a gentle pace from complete beginner to bridge player.
The courses use the 'Bridge For All' teaching scheme, devised by the English Bridge Union (EBU) and independently accredited by The Open College Network.

a bi-monthly 54-page
members magazine English Bridge
an 18-month EBU diary
an EBU students' publication
The Ruffian
membership of Plymouth
Bridge Club for the duration of the course
free tea and coffee
during the lesson break At £50 for a ten-week course, this is great value for money.
The level I course will be taken by Jack Thompson who learned to play bridge when he was a student many years ago. Since then, he and his wife have played in many countries as they moved around in his career.
The level II course will be taken by Brigid McElroy who was in the teaching profession for more years then she cares to remember and has been playing bridge nearly as long!
